Verder Pumps SA (Pty) Ltd. (VPSA), trusted supplier of high quality pumps and accessories for industries such as mining, water and wastewater treatment, food and beverage, and chemical processing, has reached their 40th Verderflex VF125 peristaltic hose pump sold from South Africa. The new record reached further cements VPSA as the leader in VF125 pump sales in the Verder Group represented in 15 countries worldwide.

“The worlds largest peristaltic hose pump - Verderflex VF125 – continues to be popular in the mining industry in South Africa as well as throughout southern African and the rest of the world alike,” states VPSA General Manager Keith Gass. The latest order for two VF125s was received from DRA Mineral Projects for the Thickener Underflow pumps at Pilansberg Platinum Mines, bringing the total number of VF125 pumps sold to 40.

He further adds, “This goes to prove that the popularity of peristaltic hose pumps in thickener underflow applications remains very successful particularly where there is a need for higher flow rates to increase production. With mining houses building bigger plants to accommodate higher production, the VF125 pumps are ideal for handling flow rates up to 55,000 litres per hour, whereas the second largest VF100 reaches a maximum capacity of 35,000 litres per hour.”

With a further six VF125s in the pipeline, VPSA expect to be hitting the 50th pump sold before the year is up.
