Stainless steel high pressure air operated diaphragm pump

Verder Pumps SA (Pty) Ltd has recently extended its range of Verderair Almatec high pressure air operated diaphragm pumps. Next to the existing non metallic range, the Verderair Almatec range offers the stainless steel AH-series. These pumps are capable of creating a discharge pressure of 15 bar with a drive pressure of 7 bar. This is realized via an internal pressure booster. This brings the great advantage that the capacity remains the same (maximum capacity of AH-series is 8 m³/h).

This compact premium pump is very suitable for feeding filter presses. But also in applications with a limited air pressure this pump can be of great use. For example: with an air pressure of only 3 bar this pump will build a discharge pressure of 6.5 bar.

The pump is equipped with the patented maintenance free air valve 'Perswing P®'. Only two moving parts ensure that there is absolutely no dead centre in the air control system. This guarantees a non stalling operation. The air valve is besides characterized by low noise levels.

Diaphragms in the pump are made of PTFE with an EPDM lining. These diaphragms are specially designed for high pressure and long life time.
